Conor Coady has backed Liverpool for the Premier League title but believes Wolves can strike a blow to his former team's chances.
The Wolves captain came through at Liverpool, his local club, and is impressed by the job Jurgen Klopp is doing.
But after beating Chelsea at Molineux earlier this month, Coady is confident Wolves can give Liverpool a real test.
'They've got a good chance to win the league and they've started the season really well, but we want to try to stop that from a Wolves point of view, it's as simple as that,' said the 25-year-old.
'I grew up supporting Liverpool and I still follow their results to see how they're getting on. But I want to beat them more than ever with Wolves. It's going to be a tough game. We don't go into games with fear. We think we can win every game, no matter who we're up against.'
Wolves will be without Diogo Jota, who scored twice in three games before injuring a hamstring against Bournemouth on Saturday, but that has not dented manager Nuno Espirito Santo's confidence.
'It's a big challenge,' said Nuno. 'We are prepared. We are going to face one of the best teams in Europe and we look forward to it.'
