The eyes of the world are on Qatar as teams arrive in the Middle East for the World Cup, which is now just one day out from getting underway - but those eyes can only go so far.
Images of the hotels teams are staying in have been shared online by some teams, though others are remaining coy about their accommodation ahead of the tournament.
The best way into the hotels is through social media. From Jack Grealish to Emiliano Martinez, players and nations have been showing off their temporary homes online this week, with some stellar, hot and hilarious images doing the rounds.
England
England are booked in at the Souq Al-Wakra hotel in the recently expanded fishing village of Al Wakrah, 10 miles south of Doha.
The nation will be watching Gareth Southgate's men for the next four weeks (hopefully), and the Three Lions have already pulled out some classics with the famous unicorns of 2018 out and about.
The players were welcomed to their hotel by dozens of fans singing and delicacies from staff when they arrived on Tuesday, and they will be feeling right at home now with just two days to go until their tournament gets underway against Iran.
Jack Grealish's Instagram has been the hub of behind-the-scenes content so far this week, with several pictures snapped from inside the camp shared.
An evening by the pool - one of many pools, one would imagine - a massage with Jude Bellingham and a meal with Bukayo Saka seem to have been the highlights of the week in the hotel.
France
The Al Messila hotel has a grand facade, behind which guests luxuriate in 130 rooms, including 30 custom-designed, private-pool villas, which are available for up to £1,500-a-night.
France players - in particular Oliver Giroud - have shared some behind-the-scenes content from the hotel ahead of their first game against Australia on Tuesday.
Huge plaques with names of each players accompanied by a photo are placed on the doors of the rooms, with the rooms themselves including the standard bed, tv and sofa, but accompanied by a few extras.
A tour from late call-up Marcus Thuram was shared on social media this week, with personalised cushions placed on the beds on each player and red, white and blue balloons stuck to the ceiling of the rooms.
The hotel seems good enough for Giroud, and the French players in general seem happy as they prepare to defend their title.
Argentina
Emiliano Martinez was the designated tour guide of the Argentina players' rooms, with the goalkeeper sharing a video of his home for the next month accompanied by a heart eye emoji.
A board behind the bed with the words 'somos todos, somos uno', which translates roughly to 'we are all, we are one' catches the eye immediately, with pictures of Argentina players on the board a nice touch.
There appear to be two beds per room, and Martinez has wasted no time making the place homely, adding pictures from home to the top of his bed.
The personalised bed sheets accompany a stuffed penguin on Martinez' bed, but it's up to us to guess who he's rooming with.
It could be Lionel Messi, who was snapped arriving in the hotel and is bidding to win his first World Cup.
South Korea
Most of the other nations have been pretty coy about their World Cup pads, but a brief video of Son Heung-Mins's hotel room was shared earlier this week.
The rooms looks simple enough. Bed, window, probably a bathroom.
A plaque including an image of the forward in his Korea kit sits above the bed, and he was greeted by several gifts upon his arrival.
It's likely Son will play in a face mask after suffering a serious eye injury while playing for Tottenham, but Korea will just be happy he's there and fit to play.
They will kick off their competition when they face Uruguay on Thursday, with more images are set to emerge as teams arrive and settle in the country ahead of the tournament's start.
Germany
Germany's hotel is newly built ahead of the tournament, and is an alcohol-free health and wellbeing centre, called the Zulal Wellness Resort.
It's designed for relaxation rather than fun and things to do like others, perhaps to preserve energy as the Germans look to rise back to the top of international football.
Hansi Flick's side play their first game on Wednesday against Japan.
Croatia
The Croatians are thrilled with their accommodation, because they have bagged a bolthole with a private beach and stunning Gulf views.
The beaten finalists from Russia in 2018 were headed for a city-centre venue, but when a rival failed to qualify the Hilton Doha became available and team management pounced.
Now, Luka Modric, Ivan Perisic, and Mateo Kovacic will be relaxing in West Bay, a little more than 10 miles from the Lusail Stadium, where the final will be played on Sunday December 18.
Brazil
Brazil have placed themselves at the heart of the action in the 2022 World Cup.
The five-time World Champions have taken full advantage of the compact nature of the competition, in which just 34 miles separates the stadiums furthest apart.
Brazil will be staying at The Westin Hotel, in central Doha, and the country's football federation is thrilled that the average journey time to the World Cup stadiums is only 17 minutes.
