Napoli star Lorenzo Insigne has looked to dismiss suggestions he signed with infamous football agent Mino Raiola this summer in a bid to force a move away from the Stadio San Paolo.
The 28-year-old is one of the shining lights in Carlo Ancelotti's team but with Raiola clients - including Paul Pogba, Matthijs de Ligt and Zlatan Ibrahimovic - often agitating for moves away, Napoli fans have become concerned they could lose Insigne after this season.
But speaking to Il Mattino ahead of taking on Liverpool in the Champions League, Insigne insists that is not the case at all in terms of why he changed representation.
'What matters is that I'm calm,' he said.
'I've always wanted to stay and I've never thought about leaving Naples. I didn't choose [Mino] Raiola for a move away. I'll always give my best for this shirt.'
