Match Report
Federico Dimarco opened the scoring after just 15 minutes as Inter raced out of the blocks, with Nicolo Barella feeding the winger beautifully before a first-time finish put the hosts ahead on the night and in the tie.

The visitors came close to drawing level before the break, with Angel Di Maria heading just wide and Filip Kostic drawing a save from Andre Onana but the Nerazzurri held on to lead.
Soon after the second half began, Edin Dzeko appeared to have doubled the hosts' lead with a nice finish from a tight angle, but he was flagged offside.
Juventus were unable to find a breakthrough to force the game beyond 90 minutes, and Simone Inzaghi's side kept their cool to reach the final of the Copppa Italia as they look to make it a domestic cup double.

Juve keeper Mattia Perin then pulled off a superb one-handed save to tip Henrikh Mkhitaryan's attempt wide in the 73rd minute.
Inter will face either Fiorentina or Cremonese in the final on May 24 at the Stadio Olimpico, with Fiorentina leading 2-0 after their semi-final first leg in Cremona.
Dimarco's strike ensured that Inter would reach the final of the competition for the second season in a row, having beaten Wednesday night's opponents in the match in May 2022.
Inter's struggles in Serie A have seemingly not impacted their efforts in cup competitions.
The Nerazzurri sit sixth in the table with just three league wins since February 18.
However, they brushed Benfica aside to reach the last-four of the Champions League and set up a tantalising Milan derby in the semi-finals, after arch rivals AC Milan saw off Napoli.
Inter have already picked up a first piece of silverware for the season with a Supercoppa win over Juve in January 2023.
They are next in action on Sunday against Lazio, where the 2020-21 Serie A champions will look to rekindle some form and secure just a second win on the trot.
