Inter have recently met with the agent of Christian Eriksen to discuss a possible free transfer to the club at the end of this season according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

Inter chief executive Giuseppe 'Beppe' Marotta met with Eriksen's agent Martin Schoots in the past few days in Milan in order to declare the club's interest in his client and find out what demands Eriksen has in terms of salary.

As per the report, the Danish international playmaker is looking to sign a four year contract with an annual salary of €10 million attached.

The first meeting was a positive one between Marotta and Schoots and Inter are hopeful of beating several other top European clubs to the signature of the 27-year-old, who has been with the north London club since 2013 following a move from Dutch giants Ajax.
