Your morning Chelsea digest on Friday, June 9.

Moises Caicedo twist

According to Fabrizio Romano though, the pursuit of Moises Caicedo may have taken a twist in the previous few days. The reporter claims that Chelsea are currently leading the race to sign the Brighton star ahead of Arsenal and Manchester United, though it is still open at this stage.

football.london understands that Chelsea are confident of agreeing a deal with Brighton to sign the 21-year-old this summer as efforts step up over a move. It comes after the Blues missed out on priority target Manuel Ugarte, who is set to join PSG from Sporting CP instead.

There's still some way to go in the race to sign the midfielder though, so it remains to be seen how the saga plays out.

Manchester United prepare opening Mason Mount bid as Chelsea set clear transfer stance

Manchester United are preparing an opening offer for Chelsea star Mason Mount as Erik ten Hag looks to bolster his squad. The Blues are set to move on a number of players this summer as Todd Boehly looks to trim down Mauricio Pochettino's squad.

Chelsea's £75million valuation of the player is proving to be a major sticking point in negotiations with United unwilling to submit an offer higher than £55million - for now. According to Fabrizio Romano, Ten Hag's side are preparing an opening bid for Mount and are remaining calm over negotiations with Chelsea regarding a deal to sign Mount with the player keen on a move to Old Trafford.

Chelsea schedule Inter transfer meeting as Andre Onana price revealed amid Romelu Lukaku plan

Chelsea are set to meet with Inter Milan representatives following the UEFA Champions League final this weekend. The Blues are set to discuss Romelu Lukaku's future after his season-long loan spell expires at the San Siro this summer, whilst goalkeeper Andre Onana could also be discussed.

According to the Daily Telegraph, Chelsea have scheduled a meeting with Inter and will discuss Lukaku and Onana following the Champions League final. "At the moment Inter Milan are demanding €60million (£52million) for Andre Onana," said Matt Law.

"Chelsea have got a meeting with Inter Milan after the Champions League final, predominately regarding Lukaku. But Onana will be talked about in that."
