Inter Milan midfielder Christian Eriksen is set to snub transfer interest from Manchester United in the hope Paris Saint-Germain come in for him.
The former Tottenham star has not been a success at Antonio Conte's Inter Milan, and the club are willing to cut their losses and let him go just 12 months after signing him.
After an off-colour 58 minutes against Cagliari, Conte said 'some players can leave', sparking Manchester United's interest given the creative struggles of Paul Pogba and Donny van de Beek.
But, as reported by the Star, with Arsenal prioritising other positions Eriksen is likely to rebuff interest from the Red Devils hold out for a move to French giants PSG.
Inter have offered him out to clubs across Europe, and want a £27m fee and a simple purchase rather than a swap deal or loan with an option to buy.
Sources close to Eriksen claim he is not keen on a return to English football with his reputation diminished, and left Spurs because he wanted a fresh challenge abroad.
The 28-year-old ended a six-and-a-half year spell at Tottenham in January 2020 with his contract set to expire over the summer.
But he has only scored four goals across 37 appearances in all competitions for Inter since then, and has not been a regular feature in the starting line-up.
The 103-cap Denmark international was given a rare start against Cagliari but was taken off before the hour at 1-0 down, before the side turned it around with Eriksen off the pitch to win 3-1.
Inter host Napoli on Wednesday evening, with Napoli one point and one place behind the Nerazzurri in second spot.
