Tottenham Hotspur news as Ryan Mason's side prepare for a trip to Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday in a crunch match with both sides eyeing a spot in Europe next season
Tottenham Hotspur return to action when they play Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday.
Spurs will make the journey up the M40 to the Second City hoping to reignite their faint hopes of finishing in the European spots this season. Tottenham have dropped out of the running for the top four after a run of four games without a win before beating Crystal Palace 1-0 last time out.
Villa, meanwhile, are only three points behind Spurs and will fancy their chances of beating Ryan Mason's side having tasted victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on New Year's Day. Emiliano Buendia and Douglas Luiz were both on the scoresheet for Villa in a fine win for Unai Emery's side.
Emery, though, knows Spurs will possess a huge threat to his side in the form of Pedro Porro. "He's a strong player offensively and defensively," the Villa boss said.
Because the match kicks off on a Saturday afternoon, it cannot be broadcast live domestically because of blackout rules. However, the action can be shown around the world including in the United States of America.
Peacock Premium, the streaming service from NBC, will be showing Spurs' trip to Villa with the game not selected for broadcast on cable channels. Football fans based in the USA can subscribe to Peacock Premium for $4.99 per month
Elsewhere, the match is being broadcast in the Middle East and North Africa market through beIN SPORTS, while ViaPlay has a deal with the Premier League to show top flight action from England through its satellite and streaming service in Scandinavia.
