Alexander Isak has missed Newcastle United's flight to Asia for their pre-season tour, according to several reports.
With the Sweden striker attracting a serious approach from Liverpool, Isak has not flown out with the rest of the squad to Singapore.
Newcastle have stated Isak has missed the flight due to a "minor thigh injury".
Toon chiefs have insisted Isak isn't for sale, even amid suggestions Liverpool would be willing to pay £120 million for his transfer.
Isak has three years remaining on his contract at St James' Park and his camp have been pushing to discuss a major pay-rise to recognise his growing status in the game.
He is currently on £130,000-a-week, with the player's agents now wanting £300,000-a-week to re-sign.
