Third choice goalkeeper Lee Grant has admitted he has a 'strange' job at Manchester United but he brings his attitude and work ethic to the group.
"It's a strange one,” he said to Sky Sports about his role at United.
"It's one of those where I've watched other guys perform and I thought before I didn't know if would be for me or how I would deal with it and at times it's difficult and it's funny because you speak to your friends.
"And they say 'It must be the easiest job in the world' and 'what an unbelievable job' and it is don't get me wrong I would never say it's a chore to do the job I do but it's a strange one, it's very different.
"Not getting that end result, that game that winning feeling at the end of the week is a difficult one.
"I think that would be very patronising to the one of the top guys in the country," Grant replied.
"Myself, Sergio and David have an excellent relationship on the training field. The rivalry is strong everybody wants to play that's clear.
"But at the same time it's good, honest competition and I consider that my role is to be there to push the other guys."
