The father-in-law of Matthijs de Ligt has dismissed speculation linking the defender with a transfer from Juventus to Manchester United.

De Ligt was coveted from clubs around Europe during the summer after helping Ajax win the Eredivisie title and reach the semi-finals of the Champions League.
United have scouted the defender from the early days of his youth career but the MEN understand they never considered a summer transfer likely, with De Ligt eventually sealing a move to Juventus.
The defender has made 20 Serie A appearances this season but has struggled to meet the high expectations in Turin, with reports suggesting United will be interested should Juventus opt to sell this summer.
De Ligt's father-in-law Keje Molenaar dismissed the speculation and insists the youngster doesn't regret his move to Italy.
"It's just rumour, that's all, there's nothing more to say about it," he told Tuttojuve.
"Matthijs doesn't regret having chosen Juve at all, he and Annekee are really enjoying themselves in Turin and maybe they can spend some more time in Italy.”
