Burnley-born Jay Rodriguez has returned to his hometown club in a £10million switch from West Bromwich Albion.
The 29-year-old forward has signed a two-year deal after the Turf Moor club agreed to pay his release clause.
Rodriguez came through the Clarets youth system and made 129 first-team appearances before joining Southampton for £7m in 2012.
The England international of one cap joined West Brom in 2017 and scored 22 goals in the Championship last season only to miss out on promotion after a play-off semi-final defeat by Aston Villa.
Burnley showed interest last year and manager Sean Dyche has opted to pay the clause which will see Albion receive £10m.
