A photo has gone viral on social media of Leeds United leaving their locker room spotless after playing at Accrington Stanley - a third tier team in English soccer - in the FA Cup on Saturday.
The picture was first shared by a member of the Leeds security team on Twitter, who wrote: 'That’s respect shown for a beauty little club from the #lufc backroom team.'
It has, at the time of writing, been seen by over 900,000 people on Twitter and the positive reaction did not escape the attention of Leeds coach Jesse Marsch.
Taking to Twitter, Marsch wrote: 'This photo has been doing the rounds and I wanted to say that I’m proud to manage a team, squad and staff who treat people and clubs we visit with respect, whatever the result.
'A real cup fight yesterday and the boys were great. Big game next week in Nottingham!'
A teacher from Leeds replied to Marsch, saying that the team is one she can tell her schoolchildren about. The coach wrote back: 'Love that, Emma!! They are incredible role models. No doubt!!'
Leeds beat Accrington 3-1 on Saturday with Jack Harrison, Junior Firpo and Luis Sinisterra scoring for Marsch's team.
As Marsch mentioned in his tweet, Leeds play fellow relegation candidate Nottingham Forest next in the Premier League on Sunday, February 5.
Leeds are a point above the relegation zone while Forest are only four points clear.
Marsch and Leeds could also be boosted before that game next weekend with the team expected to complete the signing of Weston McKennie from Juventus.
The United States midfielder is expected to sign on an initial loan, with an option for Leeds to buy him permanently at the end of the season.
