Sevilla will face Real Betis on Saturday night in El Gran Derbi, which will see two of the clubs' legends come face-to-face yet again: Jesus Navas and Joaquin Sanchez.

Both teams are chasing European qualification ahead of next season, with Joaquin Caparros' side in pursuit of the last Champions League spot and their rivals going after sixth position in LaLiga Santander.

Saturday's derby will be Navas' 17th, having featured in 15 in the first division and two in the Copa del Rey, while Joaquin has played 20, including 16 in the top tier, two in the second division and two in the Copa.

The latter was the only scorer in the last match between the two teams back in February, while the 33-year-old winger has been transformed to a right-back following his spell at Manchester City.

Navas reinvented himself under Pep Guardiola and returned to Sevilla in 2017, going on to become the player with the most official games played in the history of the club, along with getting back into the Spanish national team setup.

Meanwhile, Joaquin ranks sixth in the list of players with the most games disputed in LaLiga Santander's history and is set to reach Betis legend Julio Cardenosa's figure in terms of derbies played in the league.

At the age of 37, Los Verdiblancos' captain has revealed his intention to stay for one more year at the club and, although this will not be his last derby up against Navas, it may certainly be one to follow given the two teams' league positions.
