Tottenham striker Harry Kane arrived at his London home following the birth of his second daughter with the forward now switching his attention to the club's Premier League opener.
With a bright pink bow dominating the front door, Kane exited his white Bentley on the drive to be with fiancee Katie Goodland and Vivienne Jane, who was born on Wednesday.
It has been quite the summer for Kane with his exploits at the World Cup followed by a new arrival to the family. But with Tottenham's season commencing in Saturday's early kick-off at Newcastle, Kane is unlikely to want to miss out.
The birth was not without controversy though, as some online commenters criticised the couple for Goodland's choice of a hypnobirth - which saw her go without pain relief during the water birth.
But the striker responded to defend his fiancee and tried to put the matter to bed on the eve of the new campaign, saying: 'Let’s get one thing straight, any women can give birth however they would like.
'I’m very proud of my fiancée for doing it the way she wanted and we both learnt a lot from hypnobirthing.'
Tottenham made Premier League history by becoming the first side to not make a single signing in the summer transfer window.
With a handful of World Cup stars, including Kane, only returning to training on Monday, boss Mauricio Pochettino can ill-afford to ease them back in like his rivals can.
Spurs' squad will travel to the north east on Friday ahead of the early kick-off as Kane looks to win back the Golden Boot having been pipped to the accolade by a sensational Mohamed Salah at Liverpool last season.
