The Premier League returned in full force last weekend after taking a short pause for the FA Cup - and it certainly did not disappoint.
Everton's new boss Sean Dyche handed Manchester City the perfect chance to claw back ground in the title race with a shock 1-0 win against league leaders Arsenal, before Harry Kane ruined the opportunity by firing Tottenham to a 1-0 victory versus the reigning champions, becoming Spurs' all-time top goal-scorer in the process.
Liverpool dropped to 10th after a dismal 3-0 battering at Molineux, while Brighton and Brentford kept up their solid seasons so far with home victories against Bournemouth and Southampton respectively.
Meanwhile, Manchester United caught up to title rivals Arsenal and Manchester City, moving just three points behind their neighbours in second after beating Crystal Palace 2-1.
And with plenty more thrills and spills to dive into from the weekend, Sportsmail takes a look at its latest Premier League power rankings, honouring those worthy of a spot in the top 10.
10. Brennan Johnson (new entry)
The Nottingham Forest star slipped out of Sportsmail's rankings last time out but has crept back in this week, courtesy of a sumptuous volley against relegation rivals Leeds, who sacked Jesse Marsch on Monday.
Now eight points clear of the drop zone, every promoted side needs a reliable scorer to stay afloat - and Forest's 14th-minute winner was the Welshman's third goal in four league games.
The 21-year-old has also shown he has a creative string to his bow, having chalked up two assists in that period, and is undeniably one of the most in-form strikers in the top flight at the moment.
9. Kelechi Iheanacho (new entry)
Based on this weekend's performance, the Foxes forward could well be an ace up Brendan Rodgers' sleeve ahead of his battle against the drop.
Iheanacho inspired Leicester to a 4-2 victory at Villa Park with a goal and two assists against Unai Emery's in-form side, staking his claim to the first-team in only his second Premier League start of the campaign.
With only Wolves scoring fewer goals than Leicester this season, Iheanacho is surely a must for Rodgers going forward as he bids to fend off relegation.
8. Bukayo Saka (down seven)
Arsenal may well have escaped punishment after their lacklustre display at Goodison Park - with Manchester City failing to claw back ground against Tottenham - but they certainly haven't got off that easy in the Sportsmail rankings.
Eddie Nketiah missed a key chance early in the match and Martin Odegaard was hooked off early after a quiet afternoon, so both have been ruthlessly cut from the form table with immediate effect.
Only Saka, who topped the tree last time, remains in the top 10. No doubt the winger will have to rediscover his and his team's form quickly, should he wish to reclaim the Sportsmail crown once again.
7. Craig Dawson (new entry)
Fans may look on the 32-year-old as an unfashionable centre back in the modern game, but there's no denying the impact he has on top flight clubs.
Immediately tasked with managing the penetrative pace of Darwin Nunez, Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo, Wolves' new £3.3million signing rose to the challenge to compound Liverpool's misery.
Not only did he keep the Reds quiet during his time on the pitch, he also showed their misfiring forwards how it's done with an emphatic finish in the 12th minute, marshalling Wolves to a crucial 3-0 victory at Molineux. Not a half bad debut...
6. Amadou Onana (new entry)
Hard work, grit and determination. It's the least Sean Dyche asked for in his first game as Everton boss.
No Toffees player epitomised their high-energy performance more than Onana, who both locked down the Gunners' midfield and marauded forward with the ball to peg Arsenal back on the counter.
Even Martin Odegaard, who has arguably been the best playmaker in the Premier League this season, was hooked off after an ineffective 77 minutes in midfield. The Belgian will no doubt be essential in Dyche's fight against the drop.
5. Ben Mee (new entry)
Saturday's comprehensive 3-0 win against Southampton marked Brentford's sixth league match without defeat since the Premier League's return on Boxing Day - keeping four clean sheets and conceded just three times during that period.
Mee would be the first to attribute their success to the team as a whole, but after impressively netting the opener this weekend, we thought we'd give the defender the limelight.
The centre-half's sturdy defending and exceptional leadership at the back has helped build a solid foundation for Thomas Frank, who is continuing to do wonders at the west London club.
4. Bruno Fernandes (new entry)
Whenever Manchester United have been on song in recent seasons, Fernandes has always seemed to be at the heart of things. And it's no different amid this purple patch of form for the Red Devils.
Since Cristiano Ronaldo, his international and former club team-mate, sealed an explosive exit to Saudi Arabia, the midfielder has taken the reins at Old Trafford and been a reliable leader in midfield.
His dependability was on show especially against Crystal Palace at the weekend, not only through his well-taken spot-kicks but also through his defensive efforts once United were reduced to 10 men.
3. Kaoru Mitoma (up six)
After dramatically firing Brighton past Liverpool in the FA Cup last time out, Mitoma followed up his exceptional run of form with the winner against Bournemouth, taking his side six points off the top four with a game in hand over Newcastle.
Since the restart in December, the Japanese star has netted four times in six matches. Without his goals of late, the Seagulls would be ninth in the table and level on points with Graham Potter's Chelsea.
Displaying his full toolkit of skills at the weekend, Mitoma used his aerial prowess to head Brighton in front in the 87th minute, coming up clutch once again after his FA Cup heroics against Liverpool.
2. Harry Kane (up five)
What more can be said about Tottenham's talismanic talent? He is now their undisputed greatest striker of all-time, having surpassed Jimmy Greaves' scoring record of 266 goals for the club.
The England captain reached the feat in clinical style, coolly converting Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg's assist to thwart the champions and fire Spurs a point behind Newcastle.
Taking his tally for the season to 17 league goals, Kane has now joined the illustrious '200 Club' alongside Wayne Rooney and Alan Shearer, just 60 shy of the latter's all-time Premier League record.
1. Marcus Rashford (up four)
Netting his sixth goal in seven league games since returning from the World Cup, Rashford helped United take advantage of Arsenal and Manchester City's slip-ups by scoring what proved to be the winner against the Eagles at the weekend.
Although a title surge still seems unlikely at this stage, the January Premier League Player of the Month is doing everything in his power to restore the historic club to the summit, with his side now just five points behind City and eight behind Arsenal.
With a double-header against managerless Leeds up next, Rashford will hope he can continue firing for United ahead of their crucial Europa League clashes versus Barcelona later this month.
