Kanye West has baffled fans online by wearing an old English club goalkepeer jersey in an Instagram post - but its not the first time he's gone for an unusual kit choice.
In recent years, the controversial rapper - also known as Ye - has drawn negative attention for his antics outside of music.
But his love of fashion have meant that his attire attracts a lot of attention - and eagle-eyed fans spotted the 46-year-old's social media post saw him wearing an old goalkeeper top from a famous English club, when they were in the second tier.
West shared an Instagram post with him wearing a grey Asics jersey, a long-sleeved design worn by Portsmouth goalkeepers between 1995 and 1997, when the South Coast club were in the old First Division.
There was no caption offering context to West's choice, although it has stunned fans, who did not foresee one of the world's most famous names wearing a second-tier football goalkeeper jersey 28 years after it was released.
Portsmouth narrowly avoided relegation from the First Division in the 1995-1996 season, before missing out on the playoff places in the following campaign following improvements on the pitch.
The choice of top is another out there fashion decision from the man who has had a number of his own clothing lines.
It is not clear which football team West supports, but he was pictured wearing a Manchester United jacket in 2018, and a different Red Devils top earlier in 2023.
In October, the 24-time Grammy Award winner attended Tyson Fury's fight with Francis Ngannou in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in a shirt with a Premier League logo on the sleeve.
There were three stripes - suggesting it would be an Adidas kit design - but it left fans guessing as to which club and era the design related to.
One fan tweeted that it could be a Manchester United shirt to show support for Manchester-born Tyson Fury, while a Tottenham goalkeeper kit from 2001-02 and Chelsea's 2012-13 third shirt were also touted as potential options.
In October, ITV reported that a video shared by hip-hop artist Ty Dolla $ign had shown West wearing what seems to be a sports jacket with the logo of St Mary's Christian Brothers Grammar School, an educational facility in west Belfast.
