Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed both Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson trained as normal on Monday and should do so again on Tuesday before they play Crystal Palace.
The Egyptian was only fit enough for the bench in Sunday's Merseyside derby draw with Everton, but did not get on, while Robertson was completely left out of the match day squad.
The Reds, who are on the brink of winning a first league title in 30 years, return to action against Palace at Anfield on Wednesday night and Liverpool are hopeful both Salah and Robertson are fit to play.
Speaking ahead of the game against Roy Hodgson's side, Klopp confirmed both players came through training as normal on Monday.
He hopes they will both do the same on Tuesday but refused to say whether or not they will be ready to start at Anfield.
However, the German did confirm that James Milner and Joel Matip will not be fit to play Palace after coming off with injuries at Goodison Park.
The game against the Eagles will represent Liverpool's first home game at Anfield without supporters due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Despite playing in front of an empty Kop, Klopp hopes his players can still take some sort of home advantage.
He said: 'The derby was an example. We took it like it is. We aren't thinking about it any more. It's still a home game, we know where things are.
'It feels already good when you walk into our dressing room. We want to see it as a home game on the pitch as well.
