Jurgen Klopp 'had a meeting' with Richarlison's agent Renato Velasco at his house.

The Liverpool manager is said to have sat down with the Everton star's representative on Merseyside but the nature of the talks are unknown.

According to UOL Esporte in Brazil, Klopp invited Velasco to his home. No doubt the information will spark concern among Everton fans that the way is being paved for a shocking move to their fierce rivals.

Richarlison only joined Everton last summer, reuniting with Marco Silva and signing from Watford for £35million.

He has scored 13 goals in 33 games this season and the 21-year-old's contract runs until 2023.

Richalison's form saw him earn a Brazil call-up and the young forward has long been admired by Klopp.

When talking about Richarlison earlier in the season, the German said: 'What a player.'

Whilst the nature of the meeting is unknown, Velasco does not have any other players under his management in Europe.

Klopp is thought to be planning to strengthen his attack this summer but would face a real battle to convince the Toffees to sell to their rivals across Stanley Park.

Particularly as there is plenty of interest in Richarlison from elsewhere, with Barcelona also keeping tabs on the 21-year-old.
