Kyle Walker had a love-hate relationship with the Amazon Prime 'bench cam' at Elland Road on Wednesday night.
The England defender - who was an unused substitute during City's 3-1 win against Leeds - was visibly frustrated with the dugout camera in the first-half.
In fact, the 32-year-old - who was sat underneath the camera - found it so intrusive that he actually dismantled it and dumped it on the ground.
His antics required an engineer to screw the camera back on which, of course, allowed fans at home the chance to see more of Walker and the City bench in the second-half too.
One social media user joked: 'Kyle Walker Vs TV camera has had me in stitches tonight'.
Another added: 'Did you see that he pulled the whole thing off earlier?!'.
And a third said: 'Kyle Walker messing with the camera during the game is jokes'.
At one point, the right-back even pretended to pour a drink down the camera lens as fans on social media joked about the battle between the two.
The Amazon Prime Video Twitter account posted a hilarious highlights reel of Walker's night with the bench cam with the caption: 'How the evening unfolded'.
Walker was visibly irritated by the camera hovering over him throughout the game and on another occasion was seen peering into the lens in hilarious close-up footage.
One social media user quipped: 'Kyle Walker vs. the Camera. Looking like every lovable grandparent trying to work FaceTime.'
The City defender was most likely desperate to evade the bench cam and get on the pitch, but Pep Guardiola opted for 18-year-old Rico Lewis following his strong display against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup last week.
Kyle Walker has endured an injury plagued season but managed to regain fitness for the World Cup in Qatar, where he played against Wales, Senegal and France.
The build-up was dominated by how Walker would cope with Kylian Mbappe - and although England lost the game 2-1, the right-back received plaudits for keeping the French star mostly out of the game.
Walker will now hope to regain his place in the City line-up, with Guardiola's side hosting Everton on New Year's Eve before a trip to Chelsea on January 5.
