KYLIAN MBAPPE'S new mask has been revealed ahead of France's clash with the Netherlands at Euro 2024.
The forward suffered a broken nose in his side's opening win over Austria on Monday.
As a result, he must play with a mask in order to cope with the injury, starting with Friday night's clash with the Dutch.
After training in a mask adorning the French flag, Mbappe shared a snap of a completely black mask to Instagram ahead of the match.
His story post showed the mask alongside his France kit, although Mbappe will not start the match in Leipzig.
Instead, Didier Deschamps has named the 25-year-old amongst his substitutes.
Mbappe's new mask reveal comes after it was revealed he would be unable to wear the tricolore design he had sported in training.
Uefa rules state masks worn in matches must be a single colour, unlike the design he previously displayed.
The new mask revealed by Mbappe would conform to Uefa rules if he appeared off the bench.
With Mbappe named on the bench, Antoine Griezmann is expected to move into the French attack.
Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni was confirmed as the man to replace Mbappe in the side.
The pair will be team-mates at the Santiago Bernabeu next season after the Spanish giants swooped for the Paris Saint-Germain star.
Euro 2000 winners France started their campaign with a 1-0 win over Austria earlier this week.
Meanwhile, their opponents the Netherlands came from behind to beat Poland 2-1.
