Kylian Mbappe has hinted he will consult his family before deciding whether to quit Paris Saint-Germain at the end of this season.
The French forward is one of the top attacking stars in world football has recently been linked with a move to Premier League champions Liverpool or Spanish giants Real Madrid.
The 21-year-old has been a regular on the scoresheet with 102 goals in 138 games since his arrival from Monaco in 2017, but Mbappe claims that guidance from those closest to him will influence his next career move.
Mbappe told COPA90: 'We make every decision together, as a family. I think it's the strongest possible thing. This has pushed me higher and allowed me to be where I am today.
'Without them, it would be impossible, because sometimes you have bad moments. When you have bad moments in your career, you can see which people are there for you, and my parents are there for me every time.
'Without them, I don't think I would have everything I do at the moment. They show me the right way to be and I'm really lucky to have these parents.'
PSG are confident that they will be able to hold onto both Mbappe and fellow PSG attacking star Neymar as the French champions look to tie both playres down to new deals.
The attacking pair have been linked with moves from PSG ever since they first arrived in Paris but club president Nasser al-Khelaifi claims both players want to remain at the Parc des Princes.
'We have begun to talk with Neymar and Kylian Mbappe,' he told RMC Sport.
'The discussions will remain confidential but I am very confident. They both want to stay with us at PSG.'
Brazilian star Neymar, who joined at the same time as Mbappe, has pledged his future to the French giants and claims that a PSG exit has never been on the cards.
'I am very happy here, in Paris,' he said. 'I am very happy at the club, with my team-mates. The idea of leaving has not crossed my mind.
'We need to talk. We have a very good relationship, I am very happy and we will see what happens in the future.'
