LIKE A MODEL: Alvaro Morata - 'Lost boy' in London who will eventually be back

  /  maite_

Hello, everyone! Welcome to All Football column LIKE A MODEL! Here we will bring you the sexiest & hottest men in the football world. So just feast your eyes and give your points for them. The handsome footballer of this week that we choose is Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata.

Morata began his career at Real Madrid, making his debut with the senior team in late 2010 and going on to appear in 52 official games (11 goals). In 2014, he moved to Juventus for €20 million, winning the domestic double of Serie A and Coppa Italia in both of his seasons before being bought back for €30 million. With Real, Morata won another La Liga and Champions League before joining Chelsea in 2017 for a club record transfer fee of around £60 million.

This ‘Madridsta’ had simply enjoyed a remarkable start to his career in football, however, since arriving the Stamford Bridge, he has failed to prove himself with a convincing performance and has often been attacked by fans... Now he is linked with many clubs such as Sevilla, Milan and Atletico, aiming for a probable Spain return.

There is something that comes from a 26-year-old striker in whom some have seen vulnerability even on his territory and who talks honestly about pressure, insecurity and fallibility.

Morata engages with the psychology of football in a quiet, considered voice, expressing a simple but often forgotten fact: players are people too. The wonderkid possess talent and ambition, success too, but also drifts to the dark side, suffering frustration and uncertainty, the bad times to be overcome.
