Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has confirmed striker Tammy Abraham is not fit for their trip to Bournemouth on Saturday.
The striker missed the defeat by Manchester United earlier this month due to an ankle injury and then returned in last week's win over Tottenham before coming off the bench against Bayern Munich in midweek.
But Abraham aggravated the same ankle injury during the cool-down after Tuesday's 3-0 Champions League loss to the German giants.
Speaking ahead of his side's trip to the south coast, Lampard offered a bleak injury updated: '(Christian) Pulisic is injured. (N'Golo) Kante injured, Abraham injured. We are trying to find a solution with Tammy. It’s the same.'
The 22-year-old was undergoing a series of tests on Wednesday to determine the extent of the injury and the diagnosis has not been positive.
It will undoubtedly lead to concerns he could miss a clutch of crucial games, including Chelsea's crucial FA Cup fifth round clash against Liverpool on Tuesday.
