Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte has issued a warning to Manchester United that they are seeking revenge in the derby on Sunday.

Pep Guardiola's side had the opportunity to win the league against their bitter rivals in April but they threw away a two-goal lead to give Jose Mourinho's side a 3-2 victory.
Laporte was on the bench at the Etihad that day, but he insists his side are ready to strike back.

'There's always a feeling of revenge any time you lose against any team,' the defender told Sky Sports.
'We are always ready to compete and need to take advantage of the good momentum of the team at the moment.
'It's a very important match for two reasons ... because it's the Manchester derby and also because if we win we will put distance between ourselves and them in the table.'

The former Athletic Bilbao centre back has started every league game for Guardiola's side this season.
He is part of a City defence that boasts the best defensive record in the division - having conceded just four goals.
The league leaders will go 12 points clear of Mourinho's side if they win at the Etihad on Sunday.
