Lazio are odds on to sign Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey, whose contract expires next summer.
Betfair reports Lazio are 8/1 to sign Ramsey, above English sides Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City in that order.
“Aaron Ramsey is obviously a key player for Arsenal and Unai Emery but it’s no secret other clubs are already sniffing around with reports he is after a better deal from the club,” Betfair spokesperson Katie Baylis told The Sun.
“Of the English teams, Liverpool and Manchester City are the favoured clubs for a move in the next transfer window both at odds of 12/1, with London rivals Spurs at 16/1 and Chelsea at 25/1.
“One thing is certain though, Arsenal will surely want to get a move on if they don’t want to lose another key player to a rival.”
The Welshman has made over 300 appearances for Arsenal since arriving from Cardiff City in 2008.
However, the newspaper warns there has been ‘minimal movement’ over an extension.
