Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri was left furious with his players after their humbling at Aston Villa.
The Romans were hammered by Villa on Thursday 3-0, leaving Sarri stunned into silence.
Il Corriere dello Sport says Sarri refused to speak with his players after the game and did not say anything on the flight back to Rome.
Sarri was due to address his players on Saturday morning with tempers now having eased.
The Italian had also clashed with president Claudio Lotito last week, complaining about a lack of transfer work.
