Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani has pledged that if his players achieve promotion he will take them on holiday to Las Vegas.

His team are sitting in third place in the Championship after 17 games, and it seems he has already given some thought to celebrating what would be their first return to the top-flight since 2004.

They are currently one point off Middlesbrough in second and three off Norwich.

When asked in an interview with Leaders in Sport 'how will you celebrate promotion to the Premier League?', the Italian - who took full ownership of the club in May 2017 - replied: 'I'll take the players to Vegas'.

Leeds lost to West Brom, their third defeat of the campaign, prior to the international break.

They host Bristol City at Elland Road in the first game after the break, with a clash against Reading to follow.
