Rodrigo De Paul looks set to remain with Udinese, as Leeds United have not raised their offer to reach the €35-40m asking price.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Friulani refuse to lower the price-tag for the Argentina international.
Leeds have made no secret of their interest in the midfielder, but negotiations have not progressed.
The 26-year-old is in the starting XI for this afternoon’s Serie A opener against Hellas Verona.
De Paul has 17 senior caps for Argentina, while last season he scored seven goals with six assists in 34 Serie A games.
