Leicester City have appointed Rick Passmoor as their interim head coach ahead of the Women's Super League season, as they seek a permanent successor to Amandine Miquel.
Miquel was sacked last week, having led the Foxes to a 10th-placed finish, 10 points clear of relegated Crystal Palace, in her only campaign at the helm in 2024-25.
Leicester visit Manchester United for their 2025-26 WSL opener on Sunday, with games against Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham to come before the end of September.
Ahead of that daunting run, the Foxes have confirmed Passmoor – who was most recently West Ham's assistant coach – will lead their coaching team on an interim basis.
We are pleased to confirm that Rick Passmoor has joined our coaching staff to lead the team’s preparations for the new WSL season
