Atletico Madrid have completed the signing of Clement Lenglet after the defender terminated his contract with Barcelona.
Lenglet spent last season on loan at Atletico but has now made the move permanent ahead of the upcoming Club World Cup.
The 29-year-old has signed a three-year deal with Diego Simeone's side, who he made 34 appearances for in the last campaign.
Atletico went on to finish third in LaLiga and were knocked out of the Copa del Rey semi-finals by Barcelona and the Champions League round of 16 by Real Madrid.

Lenglet spent the previous two seasons before that on loan in the Premier League with Tottenham and Aston Villa respectively.
The French defender played 160 times for Barcelona following his move from Sevilla in 2018, scoring seven goals in the process of winning the 2018-19 LaLiga title, 2018-19 Spanish Super Cup, and 2020-21 Copa del Rey.
Lenglet made 16 appearances for France and was a part of their Nations League semi-final squad against Spain.
Atletico face Paris Saint-Germain on June 15 in their first Club World Cup match, followed by group matches against Seattle Sounders and Botofogo.
