Four Premier League stars will change their normal footwear for a pair of personalised boots when they take to the field this weekend.

Computer gaming giants EA have partnered with Manchester United's Jesse Lingard, Tottenham's Erik Lamela, West Ham's Felipe Anderson and Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel - who will done custom-made football boots in line with their brand new game Anthem.

The boots are customised based on each player's playing style and the 'Javelin suit' which represents them from the game.

The boots are a result of a collaboration between EA, adidas and French boot-designer Pierre Navarro.

Lingard, who was training with the United squad on Friday as he nears a return from injury will wear Storm themed boots - which signal a specialty in inflicting damage from distance.

Lingard, who will will hope to play a part at Arsenal on Sunday, said: 'I love that these boots are completely unique to me. I'm into my fashion so to have bespoke boots is pretty special. I can't wait to get out on the pitch to see whether I can deliver some damage from long-range like the Storm.'

After his boots were personally presented to him by Navarro in London, Anderson commented: 'I always try to play with speed and agility, so the Interceptor [based on the most agile, equipped with lightning-fast speed] definitely suits me and my style.

'I love the bright green of the design,' he added ahead of Saturday's trip to Cardiff. 'Hopefully it will dazzle my opponents when I'm running at them with the ball.'

Tottenham's Erik Lamela, said: 'This is the first time I have ever worn customised boots like this. I'm a big fan of gaming, as are many of my teammates, so to be part of launching a brand new game is really exciting. I can't wait to unleash some firepower on the pitch and online in Anthem!' He will be hoping to put them to good use ahead of Saturday's trip to Southampton.

Meanwhile Schmeichel said: 'Power and strength are key to any goalkeeper's game so Colossus is a great fit for me. I always have loved bright boots as I feel they make me look bigger and more imposing in goal.'

The Foxes No 1 will wear his custom boots against Fulham.
