While Liverpool's players were creating Champions League history on the field in their stunning win over Barcelona, their partners were left to suffer the roller-coaster of emotions.
Liverpool beat Barcelona 4-0 at Anfield in their semi-final second leg to complete a 4-3 comeback aggregate victory.
In the stands, the wives and girlfriends of the Reds heroes documented their celebrations on social media after the extraordinary victory.
Rebeca Tavares, wife of Fabinho, shared celebration videos after every goal in her Instagram story, screaming with delight as the remarkable scenes unfolded.
She also shared a photo of a huge group of family and friends, holding a replica of the midfielder's No 3 shirt and all with four fingers triumphantly raised - one for each of Liverpool's goals.
Among those included in the group picture were Larissa Firmino and Lilia Granadilla, partner of Alberto Moreno.
Tavares captioned the shot: 'Amazing, we are living a dream! God is faithful, Madrid here we go! We are Liverpool, this means more!'
Firmino herself also posted a celebration video to Instagram, of her weeping tears of joy as she was hugged by a friend, Brazilian singer Isaias Saad.
Saad also posted a picture of himself after the game with Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson, captioned: 'We made history with this guy who I admire too much! You blew up today! Glory to God for everything.'
Speaking of Alisson and blowing up - the Liverpool No 1's heavily pregnant wife Natalia Becker joked that the drama almost sent her into labour.
Becker shared a picture before the game of her huge baby bump, and following the match reassured followers: 'Just to say that Mateo is still in the belly after the game.'
She also shared a series of pictures and videos from the game, including a pre-match recording the Liverpool fans singing 'You'll Never Walk Alone'.
Afterwards she posted another clip of the celebrations on and off the field, and can be heard shouting 'Vamos!' over the din at Anfield. Another clip of the players saluting the Kop bears the caption: 'All honor and glory to you.'
Becker also posted a group picture with family and friends, captioned: 'A day to get into history! Thank you God!', as well as a shot of her looking out over the stadium, with the simple line: 'Thank you Liverpool', and a heart emoji.
Liverpool's extraordinary comeback win means they will play either Tottenham or Ajax in the Champions League final in Madrid on May 1.
