Liverpool goalkeeper Frances Kitching has shown off a horror injury she picked up during a clash in training.
Kitching was not involved on Sunday afternoon as Liverpool managed to beat Bristol City 1-0 in their Women's Super League clash.
And the 21-year-old took to her Instagram account to explain why she was not part of the squad for that game.
She captioned the image: 'So this happened in training on Tuesday hence why I’m not with the girls for today’s game
'This has got to be the worst injury I’ve ever had as a goalkeeper but after a lot of swelling and pain (and looking like a cabbage patch doll) I can finally say I’m feeling a lot better and ready to get back out there with my girlies!
