Jurgen Klopp is ready to reshape his squad following Liverpool's disappointing season and is drawing up a summer shortlist of transfer targets. with several places also set to leave Anfield - including Fabio Carvalho.
Liverpool have had a campaign to forget this term, with the club struggling to make the top four, currently sitting in eighth place, and failure to make waves in the domestic cups nor the Champions League.
The Reds boss is now looking to rebuild his Liverpool squad ahead of next season, in a bid to refresh his side and one of the casualties could be Portuguese youngster Carvalho according to Fabrizio Romano.
The 20-year-old signed from Fulham for an initial £5million last summer, but has struggled to nail down a regular birth in Klopp's starting line-up and could be made available for a loan move.
Carvalho has scored just three goals this season and only managed two minutes of Premier League action since the World Cup. Struggling to get into the Reds side ahead of the club's plethora of attacking talent.
Someone who could pass Carvalho on his possible way out of Anfield is Bayern Munich's Ryan Gravenberch, who remains one of Klopp's top targets this summer.
Liverpool are in the market to add at least one midfielder to their ranks and their interest in the Dutch star has peaked following their decision to pull out the race for Jude Bellingham.
Gravenberch only joined the German giants in £20million deal last summer, but has failed to make an impact and played just 18 times in the Bundesliga.
The Merseyside club were interested in securing the Dutchman's services before his move to Bayern and could snap him up for just £25million in the summer window.
The midfielder is said to be keen on a move to Liverpool and was recently spotted wearing a Reds shirt. Although the club could face some competition if he was made available for transfer.
Liverpool have reportedly ended their pursuit of England starlet Bellingham, as they prefer to focus their attention on a group of new signings to freshen up the squad, rather than focus one £100million marquee signing.
As well as Gravenberch, the Reds are also looking at other midfield reinforcements, including Chelsea duo Conor Gallagher and Mason Mount, as well as Matheus Nunes of Wolves and Fulham's Joao Palhinho.
