Liverpool are facing a goalkeeper crisis as they wait to discover the extent of Alisson Becker's calf injury.
The Brazilian – who will now undergo a scan on the injury – was replaced by Adrian, who only arrived at the club on Monday on a free transfer after Simon Mignolet joined Club Brugge.
Liverpool have very few other goalkeeper options now.
Kamil Grabara is on a season-long loan at Championship side Huddersfield Town, under-18s goalkeeper Vitezslav Jaros is recovering from an elbow problem and Caiomhin Kelleher has only just resumed training after a hand injury.
Kelleher is now set to be on the bench against Chelsea, and Klopp explained: “Caoimhin is back in training but not at 100%, we have to see how he reacts now.
