Liverpool have leapfrogged a number of their Premier League rivals in the commercial stakes after signing their lucrative £80million-a-year kit sponsorship deal with Nike.
The Premier League leaders announced the multi-year deal on Tuesday and all their teams will wear Nike kit from the beginning of June.
Though the exact length of the deal hasn't been revealed, Liverpool move above domestic rivals Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea in terms of money earned per season.
And it puts the reigning European champions behind only Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona in the Europe-wide comparison of the most lucrative kit deals.
By bringing in £80m-a-year from Nike, Liverpool have trumped their rivals United, whose 10-year deal with Adidas, which started in 2015, is worth £75m-a-year and was the previous British record.
Manchester City's deal with Puma, which started last year and will run until 2029, is worth £65m-a-year and places them fifth in the European list.
Both Chelsea and Arsenal bring in £60m-a-season with Nike and Adidas respectively.
Chelsea's agreement with Nike, which started in 2017, runs for 15 years until 2032 and will pocket them a grand total of £900m over that time.
Arsenal have a shorter agreement with Adidas through until 2024 but the deal is still worth £60m-a-season to the north London club.
But the Premier League clubs are still some way behind the Spanish giants when it comes to coining it in from kit sponsorship.
Real extended their long-standing tie-up with Adidas in May last year, signing an eight-year extension until 2028 worth a staggering £110m-a-season.
Barcelona's ongoing deal with Nike, which was renewed for 10 more years in 2018, is worth £100m-a-season and £1billion overall.
Adidas also have high-profile kit deals with European giants Juventus and Bayern Munich, which make the top 10 list.
Liverpool's new deal represents a significant boost to their finances given their previous deal with New Balance was worth just £45m-a-year.
It reflects their status as a returning force in both domestic and European football and their commercial appeal around the world.
Nike will also be delighted at the timing of the deal with Liverpool the current European champions and on course for their first league success in 30 years.
Jurgen Klopp's team sit 13 points clear at the top of the Premier League table, with a game in hand, having dropped points in just one match so far this season.
