Ben White has arguably been the best performing English right-back in the Premier League this season ahead of Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold and Chelsea's Reece James.
Ben White has been one of Arsenal's standout performers this season after being moved to right-back by Mikel Arteta. The English defender played the majority of last term at centre-back alongside Gabriel Magalhaes but has enjoyed some strong performances in a new role in the 2022/23 campaign.

Despite Barnes' claim, White has actually registered more goal contributions in the Premier League - scoring two goals and providing three assists - than Alexander-Arnold, who has just one goal and two assists in 27 appearances.
