Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson laid a wreath at the Anfield memorial on the 30th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster on Monday.

The first team, U23's side and Liverpool Ladies all came to pay their respects outside the stadium.

The players and staff all took their time to read the tributes that had been paid to the 96 fans that lost their lives in 1989.

A minute's silence was held before Liverpool's 2-0 victory over Chelsea on Sunday and Liverpool will fall silent at 3:06pm - the time the 1989 semi-final between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest was stopped - on Monday.

Ninety-six lantens were lit on on the steps of St George's Hall in Liverpool as tribute to those who died.

Banners with images of the 96 fans that were killed by the crush at the FA Cup game have also been hung at the hall.

The Kop will be open between 1pm and 4pm on Monday for people who want to sit and reflect.

Liverpool fans held up cards to form a mosaic in the Kop during Jurgen Klopp's side's win over the Blues on Sunday.
