According to Dutch media outlet De Telegraaf, Slot will receive approximately 8 million euros in compensation after being Liverpool from his position.

The report states that Liverpool unexpectedly announced Slot's departure yesterday, even though his original contract was set to run until the summer of 2027. This early termination allows him to receive a one-time compensation payment of approximately 8 million euros. It is understood that these termination conditions were successfully negotiated by his agent, Pimenta, after she took over Mino Raiola's business following his death.

In terms of salary structure, Slot's income level places him in the "second tier" of Premier League coaches. The first tier includes Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, whose annual salary is as high as approximately 24 million euros, even more when bonuses are included. The second tier includes managers like Arteta, Slot, and Eddie Howe, whose annual income generally ranges from 8 million to 11 million euros.

The group of Premier League coaches below them generally have annual salaries in the range of 5 million to 6 million euros.
