Liverpool transfer news: Robinson drops hint as Real Madrid swap deal quashed

Liverpool are the dominant force in both the Premier League and Champions League - but that's not to say they can't get better.

Arne Slot's Reds are sitting pretty at the top of both tables after what was a relatively quiet summer transfer window. Following Jurgen Klopp's departure, Liverpool only made two signings, one of which won't join up with the squad until next season - Georgian goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili - and one who's barely played, Italian winger Federico Chiesa.

But January could look very different, especially with the uncertain futures of out-of-contract stars Mo Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold beginning to look firmer. Alexander-Arnold has been linked with a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid but Salah and Van Dijk look more likely to renew their deals.

Here's a round-up of the latest transfer news from Anfield.

Robinson drops Fulham exit hint

Rumoured Liverpool target Antonee Robinson has revealed that he's open to leaving Fulham in the January transfer window. Robinson, 27, is enjoying another impressive season with the Cottagers has been tipped to be Andy Robertson's long-term replacement at left-back.

Speaking to Marca, the English-born United States international said: "I'm very happy here. The fact that there is interest from other teams is great. Obviously, it all comes down to whether someone wants me enough to pay what Fulham would ask. So, if the club sees it as a good idea, I would leave."

Gravenberch for Tchouameni swap deal claims quashed

A swap deal involving Ryan Gravenberch and Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni looks unlikely to happen in January. Gravenberch, 22, has impressed during the first half of the season, leading to speculation that he could be off to Madrid.

It was claimed that former Liverpool target Aurelien Tchouameni would come the other way, having been heavily linked with a move to Anfield in 2022. But Sky Germany report that Dutch midfielder Gravenberch isn't thinking about leaving, with his focus firmly on the Reds.

Yildiz addresses Liverpool and Man Utd links

Juventus wonderkid Kenan Yildiz has poured cold water on speculation that he could be joining Liverpool or Manchester United next season. Yildiz, 19, had made himself a regular start at Juve under new boss Thiago Motta.

And the Turkish winger, who's scored three goals in 16 Serie A, isn't thinking about leaving. "I'm happy at Juventus," Yildiz declared. "Next year? I see myself here to fight for more titles as Juventus player."
