Longo: Only Galatasaray bid for Leao, Jashari not interested in Roma champions league spot

Journalist Longo discussed the transfer dynamics of several players, including Leao, Liberali, Jashari, S. Pavlovic, and Solet.

Longo said: "Today we talked about many situations, especially Leao. We reiterate one point: the only offer currently on the table for Leao's team is from Galatasaray. Leao's contract with Milan expires in 2028, and he is a Milan player, so the Rossoneri will evaluate market offers with the player and set a price for him."

"Leao is not a player whose contract is about to expire. Although he has expressed his desire to leave many times, he cannot leave at his own price and must reach an agreement with Milan on his departure."

Regarding Liberali, Longo said: "It was Mattia Liberali who left Milan last season. There has been a lot of discussion about him, because we have written about it before and talked about it on the channel. We have some questions about Liberali's operation. He could have been, and indeed was, one of the best products of Milan's youth academy."

"He performed well in the U20 and U19, and also played well in Milan's Serie A match against Genoa. It was Paulo Fonseca, a coach who is not afraid to use young players, who gave him his Serie A debut. I think Ibrahimovic's low evaluation of him also had a big impact. Liberali also said in a recent interview that Ibrahimovic thought he was too thin to play for Milan."

"Last summer, Liberali finally left Milan. This operation was orchestrated by his then-new agent, Lucci. The player left on a free transfer, and Milan retained 50% of any future transfer fees. I don't think Milan will make much money, because as we learned yesterday through the work of Sky Sport and Di Marzio, Liberali has a €6 million release clause. This is a very low amount, and Milan can only get a maximum of €3 million."

"In my opinion, if Liberali continues to grow, his value will be higher in the next one or two years. Whether he can become a top player or reach the Milan level, he is a valuable player."

"In the early days of his time at Catanzaro, Liberali basically sat on the bench, and another former Milan player, Alfadio Cissé, played. But Aquilani always made him feel that he was an important part of the plan, used him at the right time, and helped him grow tactically. I watched his match against Palermo, and Liberali's commitment off the ball was very commendable. He would block passing lanes and participate in pressing."

"This is actually different from his football DNA. Liberali's characteristics are to organize attacks, dribble, create imagination, and use his vitality to create chaos. The team closest to paying Catanzaro's release clause now is Aquilani's Sassuolo. Como and Cagliari also have strong interest in him. Cagliari had already inquired about him with Catanzaro before the end of the season and had contact with his agent."

"There is a lot of talk about Juventus, but according to the information I have, Sassuolo is currently the closest to paying the release clause. The way the release clause works is to first reach an agreement with the player, and once an agreement is reached with the player, then go to Catanzaro to pay the release clause. Not all teams pay first and then snatch the player."

Longo then said: "There is also a lot of talk about Juventus. I can tell everyone that Juventus will not make a move for Maignan and is not expected to strongly pursue Maignan. The rumors of the past few days have not been confirmed. Juventus is working hard to reach an agreement with E. Martinez."

"Overall, Juventus has reached a general agreement with the Argentine goalkeeper on a contract until 2028 with an option to extend to 2029, but it has not been fully finalized. There are still some gaps in terms of bonuses, appearance-related clauses, and the structure of the contract for the next few seasons."

"There are also some gaps between Juventus and Aston Villa, but I think Juventus has a good chance of signing Martinez."

Regarding Milan, Longo said: "Milan has made very few moves at this stage. Napoli is waiting for Allegri's news and also for Rabiot's news. Many players have offers, and some will say no."

"I said in the past few days that Atalanta has a very strong interest in Jashari. Last summer, Jashari endured a lot of pressure environmentally to join Milan. He had to train alone and 'fight' with Club Brugge on a sporting level to get the chance to join Milan. He persisted until the end, finally came to Milan, but had bad luck, was injured soon after, and underwent treatment for a long time."

"Personally, Jashari didn't particularly impress me, but this is just my personal opinion and will not change the news we are going to provide."

"Jashari does not want to leave after only 14 appearances for Milan. He does not want to leave Milan after so much effort. Even if Roma might offer him a chance to play in the Champions League, he is not interested. Atalanta is the most active and determined team to contact his team, expressing very specific interest, because his team is very familiar with Giuntoli. Atalanta's new sporting director had previously wanted to bring Jashari to Juventus before Milan's strong pursuit."

"According to the current situation, Jashari is unwilling to initiate a transfer. Of course, he needs to communicate with the head coach, the new coach, and also with Glasner. Glasner is now close to being finalized, and he also needs to talk to the club to understand the plans and intentions. But today someone did say no."

"This is the case for both S. Pavlovic and Jashari. S. Pavlovic has also received offers from Turkish clubs, and Premier League clubs have also expressed interest, but at this stage, he absolutely does not want to consider leaving. He wants to help Milan return to the Champions League. Both players, for different reasons, are very attached to this jersey, and I think this is important during a difficult period for the team as a whole."

Finally, regarding Internazionale, Longo said: "Internazionale basically has a player that Milan had been following. Milan had been following Solet last season and almost thought they could at least open a dialogue."

"Internazionale is close to signing Solet. The reason why it's close is that Solet needs to renew his contract with Udinese first so that he can join Internazionale on a loan with a mandatory buy option. The total value of this deal is approximately €22 million."

"Internazionale may also sell Bisseck. Today his agent came to the club headquarters, and he said publicly that this was just a routine visit, but in fact, Bayern Munich has initial interest in Bisseck. Next, we need to see if this will become more concrete."
