Gareth Bale has opened up on his custom celebration and revealed why team-mate Lucas Moura didn't join in with it on Sunday.
The Tottenham winger scored a fine brace in a 4-0 rout against Burnley at the weekend, marking his third goal in his last three games, and posed with his 'WM' celebration - while Brazilian forward Lucas held up an 'L' gesture instead.
Real Madrid loanee Bale's gesture is in homage to the good work done by the Make-A-Wish Foundation, but the Spurs dressing room have jokingly labelled it a 'Welsh Mafia' tribute.
And the Welshman admitted Lucas' celebration was in response to that, before discussing his own improvement in performance.
He told Spurs TV: 'Because everyone is saying ours is Welsh Mafia, he's decided to go with Just Lucas!
'I'm building. Yeah, it's taken a while, but yeah, I'm happy.
'I'm growing in confidence, my fitness is getting better and obviously then I think you can see that in my performance.'
The 31-year-old rejoined former club Tottenham on a season-long loan from Real Madrid last September, reversing the move which saw him move from north London to the Spanish giants for a then-world record transfer fee of £85.1million in 2013.
Bale has only played 361 minutes of Premier League football since then, and before the Burnley match only had one goal and one assist in eight league games.
But after starring performances against Wolfsberger and Burnley he was defended by Wales and Spurs team-mate Ben Davies, as well as boss Jose Mourinho, who claimed no manager in the world would not play an in-form Bale.
Although strong showings against the Austrian side and Sean Dyche's outfit may not yet constitute a complete renaissance, a confident and happy Bale would be a considerable attacking asset to Spurs in their race for the Champions League spots.
Sportsmail reported on Monday that parent club Real Madrid are 'celebrating' every good game he has for Tottenham, as it increases the likelihood of getting him off their wage bill as they circle Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe.
