Aston Villa left-back Ludwig Augustinsson is to curtail his loan from Sevilla and join Real Mallorca until the end of the season.
Villa have asked about Chile international winger Dario Osorio, 19, at Universidad de Chile.
Talented youngster Osorio has been capped twice by Chile at senior level.
Augustinsson joined Villa on loan last year, with the Premier League club having the option to make the deal permanent.
However, the recent acquisition of Alex Moreno from Real Betis has pushed Augustinsson further down the pecking order. Lucas Digne, who is currently out with a shoulder injury, is another option at left-back for Villa.
During his time at Villa Augustinsson has made just three Premier League appearances, with a hamstring injury not helping his cause.
Augustinsson, who has 50 caps for Sweden, is set to join Real Mallorca on loan from his parent club Sevilla.
As well as Moreno, Villa have also signed winger Jhon Duran from Chicago Fire during this transfer window.
