Romelu Lukaku appears to be getting into the festive spirit rather early after he was spotted wearing Christmas-themed boxer shorts during Manchester United's 2-0 win over Burnley on Sunday.
The United striker managed to score both of the goals at Turf Moor to relieve some pressure from manager Jose Mourinho but it wasn't his attacking display that was discussed after the full-time whistle.
Instead, it was his choice of underwear after he flashed his pants when he rushed through on goal for a chance to score his hat-trick late on in the game.
After beating the England international, fans became fixated on Lukaku's underwear after his top flew up and revealed a pair of Christmas boxer shorts that had 'Let it snow' on the waistband.
Lukaku went on to miss the golden chance for his third after Ben Mee managed to put of the Belgium international with a last-ditch tackle.
Despite the huge talking points from the game, which included an anti-Ed Woodward banner fly over Turf Moor as well as Marcus Rashford receiving a straight red card, it appears that Lukaku's bizarre underwear was the talking point for most fans on social media after the game.
Fans took to social media to comment on the boxers while others supported Lukaku just as long as he continued to score braces each week.
One fan said: 'Got to be lucky pants. All players have a superstition and wear something that they class as lucky.'
While another tweeted: 'He can wear them all he wants if it's gonna help him bag a brace in every week.'
