2021/2022 Premier League

Match Report
Manchester City strolled to the easiest of 7-0 wins over Leeds in the Premier League on Tuesday night, sending a clear message to Liverpool, Chelsea and the rest of the chasing pack.
Impressively for Pep Guardiola's side, City had as many as six different scorers on the night, with players from all areas of the pitch getting involved. Phil Foden, Jack Grealish, Riyad Mahrez, John Stones and Nathan Ake each scored once as Kevin de Bruyne bagged twice.
City wasted no time in opening the scoring as Foden got things going within eight minutes, but Leeds were their own worst enemies before the England midfielder finished. Grealish added their second to end his 10-game wait for a goal five minutes later.
The Premier League champions had a three-goal cushion at the break after De Bruyne finished off from close range.
Mahrez added a fourth before De Bruyne scored the next and best goal of the game. Getting the ball close to 30-yards out, he spun and sent a rocket from 25 yards into the roof of the Leeds net.
Then, two of City's back four scored within five minutes of one another, Stones getting his name on the scoresheet before Ake got his goal not long after coming on for Ruben Dias.
City, on 41 points, now have a four-point lead over Liverpool and are five points clear of Chelsea, though they have played a game more than their fellow title contenders.
