Former Leicester City midfielder Marc Albrighton has backed Manchester City to win the Premier League title over Arsenal this season.

City could go top of the table on goal difference with a win over Burnley on Wednesday, having defeated the Gunners 2-1 on Sunday.
Throughout his managerial career, Pep Guardiola has led his teams to seven wins from eight games when facing the league leaders with his team second in the table, winning all four in the Premier League, the joint-most such victories a manager boasts in the competition (level with Alex Ferguson).
City are also now unbeaten in their last 10 Premier League games (W7 D3), their longest run without a league defeat of the season.
Albrighton won the English top-flight with Leicester in 2016, playing a crucial role for the Foxes as they held off Tottenham to win the title.
The 36-year-old featured in all 38 games, starting 34 of them, and provided six assists while also scoring two goals.
Albrighton, who retired from professional football in 2024, believes City's ruthlessness will help beat Arsenal to the league title in 2025-26.
"Right now, I'd put Man City [to win the title]," Albrighton told Stats Perform.
"I'll be honest. I know it's good to have points on the board. Arsenal are still three points ahead and obviously City have got that game in hand, which is now, every game is a must-win.

"But I just think there's got to be a psychological factor in it, which I think will play its part.
"I think obviously the cup final win over them and now that win, if there's one team that you don't want to chase you down towards the end of a season, it's Man City.
"I think they've showed time and time again how ruthless they are. They just seem to be clicking into gear at the right time.
"I think City will go on and win it. But I still think there's a couple of twists and turns yet. I don't think the drama is going to be so straightforward."
