Manchester United legend Paul Scholes is at risk of receiving a driving charge after using his mobile phone at the wheel to film his young son.
Scholes and his 13-year-old son Aiden were out and about in the north west, when the former midfielder took the footage while even saying aloud that the light was on 'green'.
In the short clip, which was uploaded to Instagram but has since been deleted, Scholes filmed his youngster who was eating a portion of chips.
'Green, good boy there we go, we can see the green,' Scholes could be overheard saying, as his son pointed out the light ahead.
The clip showed a heart warming father and son moment, though could be set to land Scholes in hot water.
The former Manchester United man has previously revealed his son suffers from autism.
Driving while holding a mobile phone is illegal and could land the 44-year-old with a £200 fine and six penalty points if prosecuted.
The case could also potentially go to court where Scholes would face a driving ban and a maximum fine of £1,000, if found guilty.
It has been illegal to touch a mobile phone - even with a hands-free set - while driving since 2003.
The former United man only joined social media site Instagram this week, and had posted the video as one of the first offerings to his rapidly increasing followers.
At the time of writing, Scholes already has an audience just shy of 70,000, while iconic former team-mates including David Beckham feature among his followers.
