Manchester United target Andre Onana has changed his agent as he looks to secure a £45m switch to Old Trafford.
Mail Sport reported on Wednesday that the Inter Milan goalkeeper had been sounded out about a possible switch to Old Trafford.
The Inter Milan goalkeeper is high on Erik ten Hag's wishlist but a new representative will take over negotiations.
The Serie A side's £45m asking price could delay any move though as Manchester United wait for their takeover to be completed.
A final decision could also hinge on the future of David de Gea, which remains uncertain with his current contract expiring next week.
Should he depart United will have a vacancy in goal and Onana has emerged as one of the leading candidates to replace him.
Onana previously played for current United manager Erik Ten Hag at Ajax
United have also assessed the likes of Porto’s Diogo Costa, Brentford’s David Raya and Anderlecht’s Bart Verbruggen.
It appeared at one stage that De Gea would be extending his stay at Old Trafford with a new deal broadly agreed that would have seen the Spaniard take a significant cut on his £375,000-per-week wages.
But no extension has yet been signed and there is major doubt about whether a compromise will be found.
United are working on a budget this summer and also have the option of returning goalkeeper Dean Henderson and prioritising spending elsewhere if De Gea does leave.
United have also been speaking to potential No.2s in case De Gea does remain as they finalise plans for all of the potential scenarios.
