Fans have been poking fun at Manchester United's Antony after the winger slipped while attempting a piece of skill in their 3-1 FA Cup win over Reading on Saturday.
The Brazilian was up against Chelsea loanee Baba Rahman on the right wing as he looked to find a way into the box. After a few feints, he attempted to breeze past the defender but instead lost his footing, allowing Rahman to snuff out the danger.
'Antony feints like someone who learned how to skill by watching YouTube videos,' tweeted one fan after the error while others claimed his botched trick was 'elementary' and that he only had 'one skill'.
Some added that he 'needs to be more serious with himself' and that the winger 'dribbles like he's not convinced the skill will even work.'
It is not the first time Antony has been mocked for a failed piece of skill. He was heavily criticised last year after showing off his trademark spin while in acres of space in a Europa League tie against Sheriff Tiraspol.
Other than his embarrassing error, Antony had a solid game against Reading and was named Man of the Match after assisting Casemiro's first goal and creating some sharp link-up play all evening.
Erik ten Hag spoke glowingly about Antony, who joined United for £85 million over the summer, after the game, as he told ITV: 'I think he's growing. We want him to be also more dynamic, more variable and more direct. You see today I think [it] was a lovely pass on the first goal.
'It was a good combination, a Brazilian combination, Antony and Casemiro - so we are happy with his improvement in this moment.
'But yeah there still is more to come and I think he's capable of it, I think it's big potential in him and he has to develop it every day.'
Despite his hefty price tag, Antony has found the net just five times in 21 games for the Red Devils this season, and has been criticised for looking predictable and one-footed.
He will next have a chance to prove his critics wrong when ten Hag's side face Crystal Palace on February 4.
